Healthcare training schools in Michigan

The ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Academic Building was held on August 21, 2026. The new building is an entirely student-dedicated space.

The Janie McCamey Larkin Endowed Scholarship for Working Adults was established by Mary Cansler Jones to honor the life of Larkin, who herself earned her degree later in life.

The grant, which comes from the Tennessee Higher Education Commission, will provide the university with resources to support military connected students with mental health support and enhanced outcomes.
