The Company Education Opportunity (CEO) program partnership will provide a tuition discount to the university for eligible employees of MyMichigan Health and their families.
Cleary University has formed a partnership with MyMichigan Health through the university’s Company Education Opportunity (CEO) program that will give eligible employees of MyMichigan Health and their families a tuition discount to attend the university. Those who wish to take advantage of the tuition discount will be able to pursue a degree or certificate in a number of high-demand fields in an online cohort.
According to an article on Cleary University’s website, Jeremy Walker, who serves as the university’s Chief Operations Officer, was quoted as saying of the partnership, “Our CEO partnership program reflects the kind of workforce innovation that drives Michigan forward. Cleary’s vision is to invest in the future of our community and those who want and deserve a higher education. We designed the CEO program specifically to minimize the financial burden of college while offering students a flexible class schedule that will fit with the demands of work and family life. Our goal is to make earning a degree from Cleary fast, simple, relevant and financially feasible. Coursework is aligned with the evolving needs of the workplace. That is why Cleary graduates tend to land jobs faster than graduates from other schools.”
The CEO program at Cleary University provides employees of partner organizations, and those employees’ families, with the ability to attend the university at a 50% tuition discount. These individuals will be enrolled into Cleary University’s online courses and will be able to complete a bachelor degree or a master’s degree in as little as one year after seamlessly transferring up to 90 credits they previously earned from a college or university.
Currently, Cleary University’s partner organizations for the CEO program include MyMichigan Health, American Airlines, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, DTE Energy, Dort Financial Credit Union, Henry Ford Health, Flagstar Bank, Kelly Services, Lake Trust Credit Union, MS Ultrasonic Technologies, State of Michigan and Michigan Public Health Institute, and Trinity Health.
Individuals who enroll through the CEO program will be able to pursue degrees in fields like Business Management, Accounting & Finance, Digital Marketing, Healthcare Management, Human Resource Management, Information Technology – Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, IT Management, Organizational Leadership, Project Management, and Sports Promotion & Management. They will also be able to choose a stackable certification in Business Communications, Business Leadership, Cybersecurity Management, Data Management and Analysis, Digital Marketing, and Project Management.
Of the stackable credentials, Walker said, “Cleary designed its certificates and degree programs to work together as building blocks for professional success. Through these ‘stackable credentials,’ students can gain expertise in the most career-relevant skills, diversify their learning experience, and pursue personal interests.”
Julie Ward, Ed.D., who serves as the senior vice president and chief human resources officer for MyMichigan Health, said of the partnership, “We are grateful to Cleary University for providing this meaningful opportunity to our employees and their families. Access to flexible and affordable educational programs strengthens our workforce by supporting both personal and professional growth. When we invest in our employees’ development, we enhance the quality of care we provide and strengthen the communities we serve. We appreciate Cleary’s partnership in helping us support lifelong learning and build a strong, resilient team.”
Through Cleary University’s CEO program, upwards of 10,500 employees and their families will be eligible to attend the university at a 50% tuition discount.
