Tiffin University introduces Master of Science in Nursing program

The new program is for individuals who are seeking leadership positions in the field of nursing. The program is enrolling for the Fall 2026 semester.

Tiffin University has announced the launch of its new Master of Science in Nursing program. The new graduate program is designed for registered nursing who are seeking leadership roles within the field of nursing. The program, which is the university’s first foray into professional healthcare education, is enrolling for the Fall 2026 semester.

According to an article on Tiffin University’s website, Dr. Peter J. Holbrook, who serves as the university’s Provost and Chief Operating Officer, was quoted as saying of the new program, “The addition of the Master of Science in Nursing program represents a significant milestone for Tiffin University as we continue to expand our graduate offerings. These flexible pathways provide a unique opportunity for nurses to expand both clinical leadership and business competencies, positioning graduates to meet the complex challenges facing today’s healthcare systems.”

The Master of Science in Nursing program is a fully online program that requires students to complete 500 hours of clinical practice. The program offers three distinct pathways, offering students the ability to customize their degree. The three pathway options are Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in health systems administration, an MSN/MBA dual degree program in health systems administration with a concentration in healthcare administration, and an MSN/MBA dual degree program in health systems administration with a concentration in data analytics.

The 36-credit hour health systems administration concentration instructs students in leadership, organizational management, and healthcare operations. The 48-credit hour concentration in healthcare administration provides students with insight into executive and administrative leadership roles and business. The 57-credit hour data analytics concentration will prepare students to perform data analytics and strategy analysis in a healthcare system.
